Nestled amongst the farm and forest woodland terrain bordering the tiny village of Orono, just east of the cosmopolitan city of Toronto, the Trillium Equine Complex, a division of Trillium Morgan Horse Farm (est. 1973), makes its home sheltering many champion Morgan horses and other breeds of horses. Farm Site I is the main stable and hub of activity. Farm Site II is the crop production for Trillium. Owners Robert and Catherine Sampson have actively been involved with Morgan horses for over three decades. The evolution of their modern equine complex has been a labour of love, hard work and dedication. Today, the farm welcomes all breeds of horses and owners from all walks of life. It is truly an educational centre where “learning and loving horses” is the farm’s motto. It is a unique full service facility offering many programs and amenities from emergency vetting station to classroom facilities and equine rehab centre. It is more than just a boarding, breeding and lesson stable. It is equine care centre devoted to the horse and its owner.
